Roostar Cafe Bakery
Roostar is an artisan café, bakery, and French pastry shop located in Ava Center, Tehran, Iran. At Iglu, we developed a refined brand identity for the Roostar group, aligning it with their brand archetype and characteristics to enhance their social media presence. We captured over 160 menu items in a distinctive space, showcasing the vibrant atmosphere of the Roostar workshop through a cinematic documentary style.

Photographing over 160 fresh menu items for Snappfood and Roostar’s digital menu was quite a challenge, requiring meticulous planning and attention to detail to capture the true essence of each dish. However, the effort paid off as the results were outstanding—after uploading the new, cohesive photos to Snappfood, a delivery platform similar to Uber Eats in Iran, Roostar's sales quadrupled. The high-quality, visually consistent images significantly elevated the brand’s presence on the platform, attracting more customers and boosting orders dramatically.
Photographing Roostar’s artisan items in an atmosphere simulating warm, direct sunlight perfectly captured the essence of an authentic artisan and rural bakery. This approach reflected the heart of Roostar's brand identity, emphasizing the handcrafted quality and rustic charm of their pastries and baked goods, creating a visual narrative that resonated with their audience.
In designing icons and story highlights for Roostar, we meticulously considered the staff and incorporated various symbols and details that reflect the brand's essence. By highlighting the dedicated team behind the artisan creations and integrating meaningful design elements, we created a cohesive visual identity that resonates with Roostar's values. This approach not only enhanced the overall aesthetic but also fostered a deeper connection with the audience, celebrating the craftsmanship and community spirit that define Roostar.
In our animation of the delivery cyclist, we crafted two distinct versions to represent the seasonal changes: one for summer and one for winter. The only difference between the two is a simple yet effective detail— the cyclist in the winter version sports a scarf. This thoughtful addition not only enhances the character's relatability but also evokes a sense of warmth and comfort associated with the winter season. Such subtle details significantly improve the brand's sensory perception among audiences, creating a more engaging and memorable experience that resonates with their everyday lives, regardless of the season.

For Yalda Night, a cherished Persian celebration that marks the longest night of the year, we created digital paintings depicting a rural house blanketed in snow, radiating warmth and coziness from within. The artwork beautifully emphasizes Roostar's delectable pastries elegantly arranged on the table, capturing the essence of togetherness and comfort that defines this festive occasion. This visual narrative not only highlights the inviting atmosphere of Yalda Night but also showcases Roostar's offerings as an integral part of the celebration, inviting audiences to indulge in the warmth of the season.
